About the FireOak Team
We’re a bunch of introverted information & tech geeks at heart. We love trying new things, learning about new technologies and trends, and solving problems for our clients. All of the members of the FireOak team come from a library/information science background, and 100% of us have a master’s degree in library or information science. We’re also an unusually pro-cat bunch (but don’t tell our dogs). Most of us have well over 20 years of professional experience.
Founder and Consultant
Abby leads many of our consulting engagements and works closely with clients.
Knowledge Management Specialist
Kelly specializes in knowledge management, GIS, curation, and data/information governance issues. She leads many of our intranet-specific projects. Kelly holds an Master’s in Library and Information Science.
Knowledge Management and IT Consultant
Chris supports our internal tech stack and works closely with clients on knowledge management, IT, and information security initiatives. Chris served as an ordnanceman during his enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps earlier in his career. Chris holds an MLIS degree.
Mimi Krystel
Project Manager
Mimi primarily works with members of the internal FireOak team to support various internal and administrative projects. She holds an MLIS from the University of South Florida.
Knowledge Management Consultant
Kelly consults with FireOak clients to understand their current-state knowledge management processes and to identify opportunities to achieve their knowledge and information management goals. Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the human resources, communications, and information management areas. He holds an MLIS.
