FireOak is a team of introverts, systems thinkers, and quietly obsessive problem-solvers.
Every member of our team either holds an MLIS or has spent years working in libraries. That background shapes how we think about systems: not just what they do, but how they help people access, share, and use knowledge meaningfully.
We’re here to help you tackle complex challenges — without judgment, without jargon, and with just the right mix of calm expertise and curiosity. We believe in building trust, asking thoughtful questions, and making tech and KM feel less scary (even during a discovery interview).

Our Team
Mimi Krystel
Project Manager
Mimi primarily works with members of the internal FireOak team to support various internal and administrative projects. She holds an MLIS from the University of South Florida.
Kelly Knight
Knowledge Management Consultant
Kelly consults with FireOak clients to understand their current-state knowledge management processes and to identify opportunities to achieve their knowledge and information management goals. Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the human resources, communications, and information management areas. He holds an MLIS.
🐾 Maisey the Dog
Director of Office Morale
Maisey is FireOak’s resident rescue pup and official bringer of calm. She appears in the background of video calls, takes her job of “team vibe management” seriously, and is a favorite among clients. Several teams have told us we can’t be too intimidating — we have a dog on our website, after all. She agrees, and she’s here to help make your discovery interview feel more like a conversation and less like a pop quiz.
